Rodent Problems
Rats and House Mice are vermin and are a major problem throughout the UK. Their presence can instantly destroy a company’s reputation. Rodents, in particular Rats, have the power to transmit numerous diseases and infections such as Salmonellosis, caused by bacteria of the salmonella group, this is one of the most widespread of animal borne diseases. Others include Leptospirosis (Weil's Disease) which is thought to be carried by around 50-70% of rats and can result in the loss of human life. Parasites carried and transmitted by rodents also include mites, fleas, tapeworms and ringworm.
